A cozy holiday home close to the sea
Villa De Uitkijk is a charming and comfortable holiday home in the quiet coastal village of Criel-sur-Mer. The house is ideal for those who want to enjoy nature, the sea, and relaxation in a home-like environment.
Upon entering, you step directly into the warm and cozy living room. Here, a wood-burning stove provides extra atmosphere on cooler days. Additionally, there are two comfortable chairs, a coffee table, and a dining table with four chairs. Above the storage chest, you will find the television with a DVD player. Fast Wi-Fi and electric heating are available.
The kitchen is compact but fully equipped with an induction hob, oven, extractor hood, small fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee maker, and kettle. Everything you need to cook your own meals is present, including crockery, pans, and glasses.
The bathroom, featuring a shower, sink, and toilet, is also located on the ground floor. A coat rack is provided in the hallway.
Upstairs are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a 160 cm double bed, two bedside tables, a chair, and a built-in wardrobe. The second bedroom features a bunk bed (90 x 200 cm), a chair, and a built-in wardrobe.

Villa De Uitkijk is designed to make your stay as relaxing as possible. Everything is provided for a carefree holiday on the Normandy coast, with comfort inside and tranquility outside.
Villa De Uitkijk is fully equipped with all modern conveniences. The kitchen features an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, small fridge with freezer compartment, coffee maker, and kettle. Naturally, pots, pans, crockery, and glassware are also provided.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. In the living room, you will find a television with a DVD player, comfortable seating, and electric heating for extra comfort in every season.
Outside, in addition to the garden with a terrace, there is a conservatory and a driveway for the car. Furthermore, there is always ample parking available on the street.

De Uitkijk is less suitable for a party of four adults due to limited space. In that case, we recommend Villa De Vriendschap. Price per week
Rentals are exclusively for a week (or longer), from Saturday to Saturday. Arrival is possible between 15:00 and 18:00. Departure must take place no later than 11:00.

Villa De Uitkijk was purchased in 2023 to form a single complex together with Villa De Vriendschap and Villa Emeraude.
After three years of intensive searching, Tiny Esveld finally found a spacious, cozy house (Villa De Vriendschap) with a beautiful garden and sea view in 2019. Since friends and family were also enjoying themselves so much there, she eventually bought another house (Villa Emeraude) where she now stays almost the entire year. For living in Criel sur Mer is like living the good life. The peace, the nature, the sea—you really have everything there to enjoy and relax. When the house situated between these two came up for sale, she did not hesitate and seized the opportunity immediately. With the purchase of De Uitkijk, the gardens could extend beautifully into the panoramic view. It took a while before it was finished, as the house required extensive renovation. New heating, insulation, windows, electricity, a different layout of the rooms—everything was tackled. And the result is impressive. It has now become a pleasant, sunny house with fantastic views, hence the name: De Uitkijk. A few old elements have been incorporated to create a warm atmosphere. Beautiful wooden ceilings in the bedrooms and, of course, the round window in the master bedroom offering a fantastic view over Criel Plage and Le Mont Joli Bois. This is probably the last house she will renovate, as the years are starting to take their toll. Now she wants to focus primarily on renting out both houses and maintaining all the gardens, so that the sea of ​​flowers expands even further.

Terms and Conditions
Arrival & Departure:Â Check-in is from 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Keys are handed over on-site by the owner, who lives next door, or by the neighbor who maintains the villa. Both are available to answer any questions. Together with one of them, you will walk through the villa and receive initial instructions on using everything.
Rental Period:Â Available all year, per week from Saturday to Saturday.
Included in the Rent: The rental includes final cleaning, normal energy costs, and tourist tax. Charging electric cars is not allowed. If consumption exceeds 15 kWh per day, the extra kilowatts will be charged at €0.50 per kWh. Bed linen and towels are included. Private parking is available on the property.
Pets:Â One dog is allowed. The garden is fenced.
Smoking:Â Smoking inside the villa is not permitted.
Security Deposit: A security deposit of €250 is required.
We require a security deposit because damage caused by guests (to the inventory) cannot be insured with any company. This deposit must be paid simultaneously with the remaining rental balance, four weeks before arrival.
Upon arrival, please check the property and report any deficiencies immediately to the manager. For clarity, this does not include glassware, dishes, or minor wear from normal use. Any pre-existing damage that has not yet been repaired will be pointed out during the introduction. Immediately after departure, the manager will inspect the villa during cleaning for any damage and notify you the same day by phone or email. If the villa is left without damage, your security deposit will be refunded within a few days.
We advise checking with your insurance company to see if you are covered for damage caused to rented holiday properties, especially the inventory. Your liability insurance (WA) usually does not cover damage to inventory in holiday homes. A travel insurance policy up to €250 can at least cover your own paid security deposit.
Payment terms
50% of the rental fee is due within 14 days of booking.
The remaining 50% is due 4 weeks before arrival.
Your reservation is only legally confirmed once we have received your first payment. If we do not receive your deposit within 14 days, we will cancel your reservation.
If the second payment is not received 4 weeks before your arrival date, the reservation will be cancelled. The first payment will not be refunded.
In case of cancellation, no payments will be refunded.
We strongly recommend taking out cancellation insurance at all times.
House Rules
The maximum number of guests must not be exceeded.
Any deficiencies in the inventory or other remarks should be reported on the day of arrival.
Rentals to groups of young people are not allowed. The minimum age is 25 years.
Hosting employees for a company is not permitted.
Bachelor/bachelorette parties or student parties are not allowed.
Quiet hours start at 12:00 AM (midnight).
Fondue sets, stone grills, pizza ovens, and similar small electrical appliances are not allowed in the house for fire safety reasons.
Charging stations for electric cars are available at restaurants 300 meters away. Our household switches are not suitable for this purpose.
Smoking inside the house is prohibited.
If anything is broken or lost during your stay, please report it before departure.
Waste must be sorted according to local guidelines.
The house must be left broom-clean.
A standard final cleaning of 4 hours is included. Cleaning of excessive dirt contrary to the house rules will be charged extra.
Garden maintenance may occasionally take place during the week. Normally, the garden will be ready before your arrival.
